The Independent Contractor will collaborate with the OCC to review and enhance OCCs website that is currently not publicly available. OCC has reseated the current public website on a Drupal platform with up to 100 pages. B. OCC is seeking assistance in trouble shooting and enhancing functional features of the new website. The scope of this contract is laid out in two Deliverables below. The due dates for deliverables are as follows: - Deliverable 1, February 2, 2018; - Deliverable 2, documentation and training, must be provided for 90 days after Deliverable 1. Deliverable 1: The Independent Contractor will collaborate with OCC to review and enhance the backend Drupal code of its soon to be released public-facing website. The website will be hosted on a server utilizing Drupal version 7/CC/PHP practices (and can include other features). The redesign process will include the following: Site Specifications: Successful contractor must account for all of these requirements: • Site must be compatible with all major current browsers. • Website must not require plug-ins as a default. • Website must include “responsive site” – mobile, tablet, desktop, etc. • Meets ADA Requirements – The site should be developed to meet all federally mandated access requirements adopted by the Federal Access Board under section 508 subsection 1194.22 of the Rehabilitation Act. • Site must be built in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, provided by the W3C and should also be easily accessible to the novice as well as the experienced Internet user. • Collaborate with the Agencys Network Engineer to enhance and review the backend Drupal code of the public-facing website. • Enhance the code for the “carousel” for the home page of the website. • Refine website layout/user interfaces using standard Drupal 7/CC/PHP practices. • Integrate site with information systems and performing configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. • Provide technical support for website problems and maximize website utilization. • Testing: Testing of site on all applicable platforms to ensure website works as expected. The Contractor will explain its method of testing. The Contractor will fully test and guarantee all website functions to ensure workability. If needed by the Agency, any changes or adjustments are to be made by the Contractor. • The final determination of the features to be addressed will be made by the Agency after the Contractor provides feature options. Deliverable 2: Support and Maintenance: • The Contractor will provide the Agency with documentation and instruction regarding all upgrades and or changes. • All design, content, coding, graphics, software, architecture and other results of the RFP and contract (if a contract is entered) will become the sole property of the Ohio Consumers Counsel.
