This is a senior programming position and any creativity will be isolated to system usage and software design considerations ROLE Will function is a lead software developer in a team of mostly client employees for a series of content-based initiatives (CMS), most of which will be new projects/requests or significant modifications to existing applications Lead means they hope to find someone who is experienced enough to provide technology and usage leadership/expertise to a team of experienced PHP developers who are massively lacking intermediate and advanced knowledge of sound Drupal software product knowledge, CMS software design and development best practices and highly interactive/iterative styles of development Drupal/CMS is rapidly increasing in demand and their existing Drupal/CMS team is very green when it comes to being able to respond to sophisticated requirements and large quantities of requests MINIMUM/REQUIRED SKILLS 5 years+ of hands-on Drupal software module development using at least Drupal version 6 Strong PHP coding experience (currently using v5) 5 years experience using MySQL (currently on v5) 1 year+ experience using PERL, server-side scripting At least 3 years experience with Apache 2.2 web server, including configuration, mod/rewrite, and mod/security At least 1 year working experience with Perl, server-side scripting Experience working in a VPS environment, preferably Rackspace Experience scoping complex projects and working with deadlines Experience working with diverse teams of both IT and business users HOW WE CAN EARN BONUS POINTS AND INCREASE WINNING % Drupal version 7 experience Experience with MySQL that includes database administration Experience with some type of best practices around using Drupal software development and/or best practices with CMS software development Experience estimating/sizing Drupal/CMS software development Experience securing websites and content management systems Excellent interpersonal skills ability to communicate effectively and with different levels of business and IT (IT will include development teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, etc.)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
