Responsibilities include but are not limited to • Design, develop, and document custom front-end features using JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap and JQuery technology • Maintain and support existing website features for customers • Write modern front-end JavaScript using React/Angular • Create wireframes/mockup/prototypes for UI • Optimize performance of front-end components across multiple delivery channels. • Prepare conceptual, detailed, and technical design documentation. • Must be proactive and investigate, analyze, and make recommendations regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications • Develop test plans and scenarios to ensure accurate results across platforms and browsers • Assist troubleshooting production issues • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment Required skills: • 5+ years of experience developing scalable full-stack solutions • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap, SCSS/CSS3, JQuery and responsive/mobile design. • Database and data modeling experience (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server) • Back-end programming using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API • Experience architecting solutions using modern frameworks such as Angular.js and/or React.js. • Experience with CSS Preprocessors such as LESS or Sass. • High proficiency with JavaScript language • Experience working with RESTful APIs • Expert-level JavaScript ES5 / ES6 / ES7 knowledge, and curiosity to learn more • Experience in designing for phone, tablet and web platforms • Good to have knowledge of developing cloud-native applications and deploying to a Cloud environment (i.e. IBM Cloud, AWS, Google Services, or Azure, etc.) • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD).
