Analysis and Design - Analyze existing systems. - Create conceptual business design document based on customer requirements. - Review document with customer(s) and amend accordingly. - Create technical design document based on business design. - Review document with technical staff and Architect and amend accordingly. Software Construction - Program and debug code per technical design specifications. - Perform unit and system testing using agreed upon test cases with QA and customers. - Create technical documentation. Delivery Assurance - Support QA and customers during functional and regression testing. - Support QA with the maintenance of test environments. - Provide change control documents for the promotion of technical and data objects to the QA and Production environments. Miscellaneous - Follow and adhere to divisions standards and procedures. An example of procedures is the divisions System Development Methodology (SDM). - Document findings of meetings where appropriate. This includes issues and any action items that are a result of the meeting. - Conduct customer training. - Coordinate meetings with technical and customer staff. - Prepare status reports. - Participate in the evaluation of software products. Production Support - Monitor support center calls. - Maintain system reference tables to support applications and ensure data integrity. - Follow up all support center calls to provide customer service when necessary. - Analyze, design, implement corrections to system. This may include a short-term tactical solution to a long-term solution. Demonstrated ability to get along and work well with others.
