EAI Enterprise Architecture COTS Java J2EE Java Script JQuery XSL XML HTML And CSS   Requirement id 69872 Job title Architect Job location in Sacramento, CA Skills required Senior Technical Specialist/Lead, EAI, Business Case Documents, Enterprise Architecture COTS Java J2EE J Open Date 14-May-2018 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Architect: Senior Technical Specialist/Lead, EAI, Business Case Documents, Enterprise Architecture COTS Java J2EE J Submission deadline: 5/21/2018 5:00PM Start date; 7/1/2018 End date: 6/30/2019 Client: Description: The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: • Provide feasible business solution that aligns with CalPERS enterprise systems architecture and existing business processes • Provide technical oversight and help the team involved by provide required technical help with implementation of a particular change • Provide architecture reviews for major application development and integration efforts • Provide application architecture direction, guidance, and mentoring as required to staff • Perform interoperability architecture design, development, and maintenance • Design architecture components needed by projects • Design shared services that enable applications to perform common tasks • Conduct evaluation and quality assurance on architecture framework, components, and services to be implemented • Perform application architecture performance tuning • Provide deployment planning support (multi-environment, multi-server, multiplatform) • Evaluate all proposed architectural solutions to verify that these solutions are consistent with CalPERS Enterprise Architecture direction • Evaluate new Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products to verify these would meet and fit with CalPERS Enterprise Architecture direction • Provide architecture services for major initiatives leveraging technology • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the evaluation of vendor proposals for CalPERS Requests for Proposals (RFPs) per Solution Architect Unit manager direction • Evaluate and recommend selection of software products and technologies per Solution Architect Unit manager direction • Provide impact and/or cost analysis for application architecture related issues and initiatives • Communicate technical information to a variety of staff (technical and business) and management where appropriate • Provide clear and concise technical documentation, assessments, status reports and other written artifacts as required • Design, build, test, and maintain the enterprise sub systems • Translate technical specifications and/or physical design into code for the enterprise sub system enhancements and changes • Participate in joint application requirements; design sessions with project staff as required • Lead JAD facilitation techniques for gathering requirements and performing requirement analysis • Work with team members to ensure that the developed products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined by the requirements • Create and modify Cognos reports for the enterprise sub systems • Participate in team reviews of design artifacts and code, make changes as required, and recommend alternative solutions where appropriate • Provide support as needed for related architecture enhancements, defect fixes, and deployments • Follow established processes for configuration and release management to ensure that all project artifacts are managed, integrated, and versioned according to standards • Write Oracle Structure Query Language (SQL) and read the data models • Provide support for Adobe LiveCycle/Enterprise Manager, Cognos Reports, Rules Engines • Provide training/mentoring to technical staff • Attend project, staff, and management meetings as required • Provide transition support as needed • Provide weekly status reports KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER On an ongoing basis until the end of the contract termination, all work products and deliverables (project status reports, business process, triage incident reports with resolution, meeting minutes, code, test cases, test outcomes) details have to be discussed with the manager and ensure that all of the informa   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
