Strong customer service and communication skills are required for this position. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and training EDMS users to ensure they understand and receive the full benefits of the FDOT EDMS implementation. Where possible the candidate will incorporate the use of existing enterprise data by interfaces written to interact with existing Enterprise Business Systems. This support will include end user support and server management. Responsible for the design and development of IT systems. Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements. Responsible for selecting appropriate C.A.S.E. tools to develop systems and software. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems. Possesses experience in minicomputer or client/server environments including the implementation and support of resource planning, sales automation, marketing, financial and distribution systems. Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in a related EDMS/ECM field could be used in place of Bachelors Degree. Experience Three (3) years of advanced EDMS experience including analysis, administration, maintenance, implementation and support of EDMS/ECM applications and databases in an intranet and internet environment. 3 to 5 years of systems analysis/programming experience. Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Advanced experience in supporting OpenText Livelink ECM eDOCS Version 5.X or higher in a distributed environment. 2. Experience in creating, maintaining and supporting Oracle and SQL Server database environments. 3. Knowledge of software applications relating to spatial data, indexing concepts and related functionality. 4. Knowledge of data integrity concerns, safeguards and security. 5. Able to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines. 8 Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The submitted candidate must be able to apply knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques associated with document management. 2. Knowledge of document archiving standards. 3. Knowledge of server environments 4. Knowledge of Citrix 5. Ability to evaluate and resolve computer application and system problems associated with an electronic document management system. 6. Ability to work effectively with users to identify and document requirements for the support of an electronic document management system. 7. Skill in creating and modifying document management Profile forms as requested by the end user and the subsequent documentation to reflect those changes. 8. Ability to perform Library and Open Text table administration tasks using an Open Text Administration tool. 9. Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation, and resolution of large Enterprise application production issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems. 10.
