Job Description Engineer: Control System Development Training, Software Validation, ECM, Et Al

Description:

Candidate Responsibilities:

Seeking a controls development/validation engineer with hands-on experience with dSpace/HIL/SIL controls software validation.
The engineer will work with a team of mechatronics engineers to develop/validate controls strategies using Hardware-In-the Loop and Software-In-the Loop methods.
Operational experience in setting up and running dSpace required.

Successful candidates for this controls engineer-2 position will be self-motivated and highly organized to track their own work and collaborate with the team to complete the assigned projects



Education Requirements:

Mechanical, Electrical, Computer engineering, Aerospace or other Engineering degree



Technical Skills:

Control Systems knowledge including controls design.

Knowledge of Software validation tools like dSpace - Matlab/Simulink , Control desk

Plant Model integration for dSpace

HIL/SIL Software validation

Knowledge of electrical components, switches, sensors, actuators, solenoids to manage dSpace.

Knowledge of tools like CANape, ET, ECM and ECM communication.
Embedded software knowledge
