Monitor and maintain facility operations and capacity. (Fire suppression systems, power systems AC/DC, and HVAC). Monitor switch performance and capacity. Support data fill of sites, trunking, translations of routing, etc. Work closely with vendors with evolutions of technologies. Work with RF/Network Operations to increase and improve Network Optimization. Perform additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two year electronics degree or equivalent experience required. Previous experience in digital/packet switching and SIP solutions required DMS MTX/ 5E training preferred emphasis on Packet. Nokia/ALU ECP/OMP/OMC/RNC CDMA knowledge is preferred. Experience with Nokia BTS IPBH to EBH conversion is preferred. Knowledge of Network interfaces including, but not limited to Traditional Copper, Fiber, T1, Cable, SIP, etc. Knowledge of Ethernet Routing, Switching and Backhaul. Cisco, Nokia 7X50, SAR 7705, Ericsson SE1200/600, SP210 experience a plus. Unix/Linux experience required. Shell scripting(bash, Expect, Perl, etc.) a plus. Knowledge in MS Excel formulas, Macros, etc. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing computer screen. Schedule includes some evenings and weekends. 24/7 availability and live with approx. 30 mins of MTSO location. This job requires the employee to be able to lift 60lbs unassisted and 120lbs assisted. Be agile enough to bend, stoop, and crawl. Possess sufficient manual dexterity and mobility to work in confined areas.
