This person would be primarily responsible for developing and facilitating training programs to educate the clients employees and new hires on the importance of accessibility standards to its business and how to practically implement these standards. This individual will be responsible for creating training materials, and conducting accessibility workshops, tear downs and training sessions across the organization. They will have the opportunity to educate and enable product owners, designers, developers and business partners to evolve how we weave accessibility into the core of the clients culture and the foundation of the way the it works. Responsibilities: • Facilitate engaging, highly impactful accessibility training sessions for teams across the organization and its digital properties. • Facilitate virtual training for new entity onboarding. • Partner with subject matter experts to evolve existing training materials and develop new techniques and materials to drive accessibility across multiple teams. • Develop scalable methods to onboard new teams and new hires. • Run the AccessibilityLab new hire orientations and quarterly team teardowns. • Coach and mentor associates as they ramp up on accessibility. • Make complex ideas simple and find creative ways to advocate for accessibility. • Build strong relationships with partners across merchandising, development, design, creative, product marketing and other key teams. • Drive adoption and awareness for accessibility empathy events, speaker series, training and industry collaboration opportunities. • Deliver exceptional customer service to key stakeholders. • Collect feedback to constantly measure training effectiveness and develop new tactics to continue to educate associates. Minimum Qualifications: • Experience working in an eCommerce environment. • Excellent presentation and communication skills. • Experience in a training role preferred. • Expertise in WCAG, universal design and accessibility required. • Basic knowledge of design and engineer accessibility principles and language. • Bachelors degree in communication, universal design, business or other relevant field. • Must have proven ability to adapt to change and pivot frequently to adjust to changing priorities. • Customer-centric mindset. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint. • Ability to adjust training to various Associate learning styles and foster an environment that welcomes all perspectives.
