This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This position is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. Provides support to Accounts Payable, Merchandising and other TSC departments to answer B2B-related questions and concerns. As situations vary, this requires a working knowledge of TSC business and B2B processes, programs and edits. (15%) Provides necessary and timely support as a liaison to a portion of TSCs external B2B Trading Partners. This includes production problem resolution and transaction testing for network or ID changes. Audits, tests and resolves ANSI X.12 issues for compliance. Educates trading partners as needed. Delegates non-B2B issues to appropriate resources. Manages global issues affecting multiple trading partners to resolution through root cause analysis and working with relevant third parties. This requires working knowledge of the transaction center and trading partner profile components of the B2B software. As each situation is unique, this also requires comprehensive knowledge of our internal business and B2B processes, jobs and edits as well as logic and sound judgment to independently make decisions in resolving these concerns. (15%) Provides technical and functional support for application systems used by the B2B team. Works with relevant application team members to provide analysis and specifications for additional/new EDI documents and changes to existing documents in accordance with ANSI X.12 EDI standards. Develops, maintains and tests EDI maps, related interfaces, and data communications scripts. Configures and implements FTP/MFT applications as requested by business users. Supports testing for any related interface upgrades. (40%) Supports roll out of current and future EDI transaction sets by serving as an escalation person for other B2B Analysts with testing concerns and issues. Analyzes, negotiates, and resolves issues with the testing process. Roll out includes working with new vendors to assess an EDI solution that best fits their business needs, educating them about TSC EDI processes, and insuring they follow EDI standard guidelines. Ability to test with vendors is required, including creating outbound test data, syntax analysis for compliance with ANSI X.12 EDI standards and communicating with vendors to resolve syntax and content errors. It also involves communicating with internal users for content errors during testing. (10%) Troubleshoots for any errors using the EDI, communication, and application software. Petitions other team members as necessary to resolve issues. (5%) Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. Extensive knowledge with major EDI / B2B software products, including GXS EDI / B2B software (preferred). Will be expected to perform different tasks. Some degree of creativity and latitude is expected as part of the job performance and will need to rely on judgment and experience to accomplish goals. Leads the addition of new vendor numbers as related to EDI processes. This requires an extensive understanding of the vendor number relationships within SAP and EDI systems. This task requires solid communication with internal users and the vendors to make sure data is routed correctly.
