This position will work with members of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) teams. The purpose of this job is to design, develop, test, and deploy integrations into and out of Workday. The position will additionally monitor changes by Workday and assess impact. This individual will work closely with our process area leads to determine appropriate integration solutions for our business owner needs. In addition, this position will work with and mentor junior developers. IMPACT & INFLUENCE: This position will interact on a regular basis with: unit and department management and staff, Technical/Functional business owners across the Institute This position typically will advise and counsel: Unit Management This position will supervise: N/A KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include but are not limited to: Create and modify integrations using Workday technologies - EIB, Cloud Connect, Studio. Create and modify Advanced Custom web service enabled reports utilized by multiple external systems. Work individually or within project teams and participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support. Provide accurate delivery timelines for assigned work and deliver on time Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as necessary. Stay informed of changes to integrations as a result of Workday updates and determine impact. Regression testing of integrations during Workday system updates/upgrades Create technical documentation. Maintain proper change management documentation Provide guidance on Workday development best practices Mentor junior developers EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Degrees required for this job: Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Degrees preferred: Years of experience required for this job: Three to four years job related experience Certifications or licenses required for this job: Certifications or licenses preferred: SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Specialized skills required for this job: Strong knowledge of o SaaS architectures.
