Job Description Architect: ELT, ETL, BI, Data Integration

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Develop and provide solution architecture design for data lake that will work with BI strategy.
Develop technical transition plan to add additional data to the data model and BI solution over multi-year phased initiatives.
Develop ETL/ELT approach for data integration and process design.
Develop, recommend, and document best practices and data governance strategies on how to manage and maintain data throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Participate, contribute, and adhere to the established department Change Management process to ensure proper oversight on proposed changes and updates of current architecture.
Collaborate with tolling system technology Subject Mater Experts strategy to ensure proper adaptability to new commercial technology, capturing business and cost related efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field.
5+ years relevant experience in enterprise transaction and financial processing database and application systems. Experience in tolling system transactions a plus.
10+ years relevant experience with data architecture, technical application architecture and data model development in commercial solutions including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP in structured (RDMS) and non-structured (File Systems) data systems.
5+ years recent experience of other third-party BI tools and Data visualization products (PowerBI a plus).
Knowledge and experience with PCI and SOC Type 2 operations audits.
Experience working in matrix and multi-discipline teams in large complex transactional and e-commerce systems.
Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
