Job Description : • Private cloud environment (VMware, Dell/EMC for storage, etc.) • Greenfield project, migrating from old platforms to new platforms. • Cyber Resiliency update to look at different components within Greenfield environment (ie, What kind of storage? How is it being backed up? Whats the recovery time? Etc.) • Will be conducting deep analysis to understand current environment and identify areas for improvement. • Network Admin/System Admin/Storage/Orchestration knowledge and background. Looking at Cyber Attacks (DDoS attack) but these are evolving over time. Role is to help out to review the current environment, what is the storage, what is the recovery time, do a deep down analysis of existing env. And address what we need to. Automation – DevOps environment? Any scripting? Orchestration? • Use Ansible, but concept is more important. Is there a plan in place for what needs to be assessed for remediation? Combination of things, but they have a good feel for what they need to look at. Virtual Assessment products? Or just general assessment EMC/Dell/VMware/Cisco/Avaya – general understanding of all. Requirements: • Must have experience in cloud development/administration. o What Cloud? Greenfield (Private) o What Services (Private)? Computer, Security, Storage • Serve as a system architect to plan, capture and manage requirements, analyze, design, test and document systems of moderate complexity and may lead system integration. o How many years as an Architect – 2 years and still hands on or very senior and much more hands off. (Focus on infrastructure – relative to what they have been doing, strong experience 5 years) • Recommend new tools and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in systems development processes. • Decisions may have significant impact on cost, schedule, and technical performance. • Experience with Dev/Ops (Former Developer or Former Sys/Network Engineer) o Scripting: Concepts o Configuration Management: They use Ansible Significant domain knowledge of vendor products and systems such as Dell/EMC, VMware, IBM, and Cisco. • Storage and backup in the cloud • Security/Design/Plan/Prevention • Dell/EMC and VMware (Storage and virtualization) • Cisco or Avaya (Networking) • Cloud – Private/Public (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
