Job Description : The Application Integration Analyst (AIA) plans, coordinates, and documents the assimilation of new software applications and programs into the existing application network, working within the application software translation layer that enables communication and data management for distributed applications in a middleware domain. The integration environment is primarily IBM IIB/MQ and Informatica PowerCenter along with supporting technologies such as Web Services, XML, Java, and .Net. The AIA participates as a member of a team of ICC (Integration Competency Center – ICC) developers and support personnel responsible for the operation of the middleware integration platforms. Business functional and technical requirements are created, and the AIA ensures that technical resources can develop middleware code from AIA specifications. Whenever applicable, testing activities are conducted to assist developers with quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise across multiple integration technologies to maintain and enhance platform stability and usability. Assist with reduction of Point-to-Point (P2P) integrations Assist with increased reusability of integration components Reduce interface complexities and dependencies Understand and support major ESB and ETL patterns of integration Create high-level and low-level detail design documents for Informatica and IBM WebSphere Message Broker initiatives Support the development of business cases for upgrades or the introduction of new integration technologies. Provide weekly status updates and prepare technical reports and briefings concerning system related problems and corrections Support designers, developers, and testers throughout the application development lifecycle Understand critical data models used as sources and targets of the integration processes Conduct data profiling and analysis of source systems, cross reference tables, and target databases Conduct application gap analysis to foster business approval of solution Assist other analysts and business partners with issue resolution Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline Minimum of 2 years experience in designing, developing, delivering COTS and customized integration solutions preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with middleware on an Application scale, specifically WebSphere Message Broker– (version 10 preferred) preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with Informatica Power Center, Informatica PowerExchange CDC preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with IBM Infosphere Data Replication preferred Previous experience with estimating middleware initiatives preferred Experience with consuming all types of Web Services preferred Experience with J2EE or .NET for building XML-based web services preferred Experience with scripting languages: javascript, VBScript Experience with MS SQLserver technologies. Experience with HTTP, HTTPs, FTP protocols Highly motivated and results driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated technical, analytical, and organizational skills Effective written and oral communication with technical and non-technical audiences Experience working independently and directly with the business on requirements gathering and analysis Experience evaluating new technologies and introducing them into the architecture   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
