Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to lead requirements gathering and logical design sessions necessary to understand and document the scope and business requirements. Ability to estimate and communicate the work effort to EDW management and Stakeholders. Own the deliverables from inception, review and signoff of the deliverables. Ability to translate business needs into technical designs. Strong experience with EDW development lifecycle (SDLC and/or Agile) Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and customer service skills. Analysis Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and advanced SQL programming, (PL/SQL preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret and analyze data from various source systems to support data integration and data reporting needs. Ability to solve complex integration design challenges. Informatica Development Expertise with Informatica ETL processes, development, data management, data profiling, data flows, data relationships, and data quality standards and processes. Experience with performance tuning strategies within Informatica PowerCenter. Expertise with Oracle and advanced SQL programming. Ability to research and troubleshoot, using tracing techniques in both SQL & Informatica. Understanding of ERWIN data modeling tool for logical and physical data models. Experience with Change Management tools such as STAT, Service Now, Changeman, etc. Advanced skills in dimensional data model design. Experience creating and maintaining DDL scripts. Experience building Dimensional Data Models for Data Warehouse and Data Mart implementations. Understand conceptual, logical and physical data models Kimball frameworks using 3NF and de-normalized dimensional design philosophies. Assist with the development and documentation of the source to target mapping with the Data Modeler. Develop highly performant structures such as staging areas, integrated data, data marts, and operational data stores. Suggest, document and enforce data warehousing best practices including overall Data warehouse architecture. Strong dimensional modeling and star schema design skills and understanding. Experience reading and interpreting any Data Modeling tool (Erwin preferred). Experience with reporting tools such as IBM Analytics is a plus. Experience with data conversions is a plus.
