The incumbent actively supports and complies with all Company corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities Provides guidance to Systems Analyst analyzing multiple, complex process flows in Company business environment. Applies business knowledge (example HR or Finance processes) in assisting business unit staff in describing their business processes. Performs complex systems design independently, assists other systems analyst in translating systems designs to working systems. Manages multiple, complex application projects and/or project teams. Provides project management oversight to cross-functional IT projects. Under the direction of assigned IT staff, documents complex business process flows in Company business environment. Under the direction of assigned IT staff, translates complex business process flows into system requirement documents. Participates in the design and development of business systems following Company established design processes Provides oversight to vendors developing systems at the Company. Designs and develops application systems in Company client-server environment. Ensures compliance with standard software development practices. Develops training materials and train Company staff in the use of application systems. Interacts with vendors and consultants for the implementation and upgrade of systems. Contributes to technical publications and grant/contract proposals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Has authority either directly or through recommendations for employment decisions to include selection, training, performance evaluations, counseling, promotions, and terminations. Performs other ancillary duties, as assigned. Education and Experience: B.S. in Computer Science, Operations Research, or equivalent experience in a related field is required. Must have an additional 5-7 years of experience with process analysis, application development, and required application environments (i.e. programming languages, databases, operating systems, hardware, and telecommunications). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in AGILE development methodology is a must. Experience writing user stories, spring planning etc is a must.
