Job Description : The ideal candidate will be responsible for: •Maintain SSRS/RDL code for Score Reports Primary person for all deployment activities for code into s/w testing and Production. • Generate all documentation required for deployments and fill out process documents required by ETS standards •Primary person for Post Deployment Validation for all code deployed into S/W testing and Production environments. The Data Warehouse Developer analyzes business and technical requirements and data warehouse models, to understand the detailed data management requirements and collaborates on the design, planning and modification of data warehouses and other BI solutions. The incumbent creates and maintains database objectives for all environments, across multiple hardware and DBMS software platforms. Additionally, this role provides technical database expertise and problem-solving support to resolve DMS issues and assist in the monitoring of database performance. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Data Repositories using Oracle database programming skills with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Loader, Sync Sort and Linux shell scripting • Provide business expertise for the development of Business Intelligence solutions • Provide technical expertise to the development and implementation of solutions using basic dimensional modeling techniques, make recommendations for improvements in these areas when necessary • Provide technical support for existing Data Warehouse ETL (Extract, transform, load) processes • Assure quality of design and implementation of projects • Trouble-shoot application software/hardware problems as they apply to design, implementation, or installation activities • Schedules and coordinate application maintenance activities. • Participate in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem resolution activities • Follow DMS related standards and procedures, knows where they are located, and incorporates them; follows software development processes • Research, evaluate, and test new software and DW related tools and facilities as they pertain to the existing DW environment and applications • Monitor current DW applications and develop procedures, where necessary, to improve the DW environment as required • Identify and supports quality improvement initiatives • Perform other assignments to comply with the IS&T corporate purpose and mission to add business value, increase revenue, decrease costs, improve productivity, and support the strategic initiative/directive • Comply with all security and audit standards • Manage the work of vendors to achieve quality results at a market based price using established policies and procedures Experience: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: •3 years experience with MS SQL Reporting (SSRS/SSIS) and BI services – Versions 2014 and 2016 •Combination of 5 years experience with MS SQL BI or Reporting applications like Jaspersoft or VB.net/C#. •3+ years of VB.net or C# including WCF technologies and java script are required. •Basic Windows Server 2012 administration skills.
