Job Description : To create and maintain test requirements from existing system requirements; perform testing using specific methods and track and report test progress in a manner to ensure quality system deployments. Duties Develops test requirements, strategies, and cases from existing reporting system requirements and specifications and defines processes to be used for testing, verification, and tracking. Performs defined tests, analyzes results, prepares and reports status of manual testing and develops process and procedure that will lead to an efficient and automatic test. Creates and maintains test plans, test cases, test scripts, and executes system tests using industry standard testing procedures and guidelines, as well as evaluates and documents test coverage, results, and effectiveness utilizing current test and system tools. Documents and tracks system defects, severity, triggering events, and communicates to the development staff corrective solutions. Prepares user documentation training materials, and facilitates training. Makes recommendations for improvement to requirement specification and test standards, procedures and guidelines, and coordinates activities with user community for test requirements, troubleshooting, and deployment. Required: Position requires an associates degree with related coursework and three years related testing and support experience for business applications systems. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Position requires basic knowledge of business application systems, the ability to analyze and resolve problems; use independent judgment and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
