Analyze, define and documents requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems. S/he also ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, testing, implementation and documentation. Job holder must have extensive knowledge of companys total computing environment, including all key IT functions, interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Extensive experience with developing and supporting distributed applications required. Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems. Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output. Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers. Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits. 7-10 years of relevant work experience is required. Specific job experience: Senior-level ETL experience (5+yrs minimum) in the following: •Development in Informatica Power Center for Windows, PERL and MSSQL. • SQL knowledge required to verify proper database population. DB2 experience preferred • Good written and verbal communication skills across multiple areas of the business/technology, help facilitate discussions, problem resolution, etc. • Participation with end users and the business systems analyst to understand their business requirements and the functional requirements. • Efficient design and development / unit testing required to implement business requirements for transforming accounting related data. • Support of system testing of workflow functionality and supporting UAT activities. • Outputs would be design documents, unit test cases, project status, etc. • Experience with Accounting related applications a plus Notes from Manager: • Will this be temp to perm?
