Resources are required to work onsite 5 days a week and the role would look to start ASAP. This Senior ETL Developer is responsible for designing and delivering the processes to Extract, Transform, Clean and move (Load) data so that it can be loaded into a data warehouse. Our client is updating their databases, which consist of heavy-SAP and Teradata RDBMS. Experience with SAP RDBMSi s required, as well as EXCELLENT communication skills, as this role will be working with business stakeholders as well as technical resources. Key Responsibilities: Analyzes Project-specific business requirements and system integration points to design appropriate ETL solutions that are aligned with Architectural standards. Responsible for delivery of the design, code, testing and documentation, based on system and technical requirements Works with solution architects to choose a data integration style to meet the needs of each project — for example, replication, ETL, views, etc. Engages with Business SMEs to understand the use cases that the integration solution must support. Presents ETL design in Architectural review meeting comprising of Solution Architects/ETL Architects/Data Architects/DBA/Engineers/Testing Team. Works with the Project Data Modeler in understanding the Entity relationships also hands over ETL Architecture design documents to the Development team(s). Interacts with database administrators to meet requirements for volume and performance. During the execution of each phase, assumes an active project role and supports ETL team during development, testing and implementation rollout. ETL Architecture Design Artifacts as part of Application Design Document (ADD) High Level End-to-End data flow diagram ETL Functional Specification, with Transformation Logic Process Dependencies Data mappings and transformation processes Job Schedules and Automation for extraction and load processes Experience & Qualifications: 7+ years of Experience in SQL, and ETL capabilities –Informatica (IDR), SQL Server, Teradata, Understanding or Relational Database Management Systems is a MUST (Teradata, SAP (any version of the RDBMS acceptable) Understanding of source and target data structures and relationships Experience/Understanding with Data modeling – ERWin is a plus, but not a requirement Experience with metadata and data quality capabilities beneficial Strong performance-tuning, problems-solving and analytical skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
