Job Description Tech Lead: ETL, SSIS, Java Spring, Talend Experience Software Development

Description:
Day to Day Job Responsibilities:

Lead developers providing ETL support and deploying desired enhancements using primarily SSIS/Java Spring Batch or Talend.
Coordinate with Clients, Technical Team and various Stakeholders.
Contributing to Operational Data Store solutions and architecture primarily around Reporting Layers.
Review ETL process for the design and requirements from Source/Staging/Final Destination.
Support Testing team and deployment team pre-go live stages.
Mentor Junior Team Members.
Approve Knowledge Transition for support team from Dev team.
Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.
Contribution to Innovation and Value additions.

Basic Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in software development a must.
5 + years of ETL experience using Talend Data Integration, SSIS/SSRS, or Informatica, a must.
Ability to analyze and profile data, and develop functional requirements is a must.
Strong understanding of database schema, object management, data modeling and architecture, and data warehouse design.
Experience with installing/maintaining/ administering an ETL environment.
Solid functional and analytical skills required.
Experience with a reporting tool like QlikSense/Tableau/PowerBI required.
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) a plus.
Experience defining/implementing an Enterprise Data Warehouse using best practices.
Must demonstrate clear ability to work directly with clients to elicit requirements, document requirements, and support troubleshooting any issues as they arise.
Good understanding of OLTP and OLAP Schemas.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Team-oriented individual.
