Utilizes Lean principles, process mapping, various systems, and/or tools for the purpose of analyzing data and identifying performance gaps and subsequently proposing process improvements. Performs periodic broad quality reviews of departmental and compliance activities to determine the accuracy of established process and procedures. Monitor and improve existing quality processes to streamline and ensure compliance of internal/external regulatory inquiry areas to generate relevant metrics and reports Documents trends, gaps, waste, deficiencies, and barriers and recommends intervention strategies to positively affect business partners quality and improvement needs. Follows through to ensure that quality improvement are maintained and controlled May create and deliver reports to reflect analysis and outcomes of defects, accuracy, and trends Works with support areas to resolve customer problems, system issues and “exceptions” resulting from internal or external audits. Recognizes and surfaces insidious and/or complex patterns of error trends, and incorrect transactions. Recognizes correlations between errors, identifies root causes, minimizes damages and recommends corrective actions. Manage multiple initiatives with multiple customer priorities to meet targeted deadlines Identifies training/coaching needs and may provide intense coaching at the team and department level when insidious and complex errors occur as needed Hiring Requirements Bachelors degree with at least 2 years (or High School diploma and 3 years) experience in quality management, process improvement, data/work flow analysis or project management is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Demonstrated abilities in coaching or mentoring are required (i.e. mentoring, peer feedback, training, SME). Hiring Preferences Health care or health insurance background is strongly preferred. Experience with Access and Visio preferred, Excellent analytical skills with the ability to utilize quality improvement tools to proactively identify root causes, trends and gaps for quality improvements and measurement For business areas with reporting needs, the ability to create and deliver reports, charts and metrics is necessary. Ability to conduct evaluation using varied methods. Effectively drive process improvements, challenge status quo, and manage change. Possess strong listening, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills Ability to work both independently and collaborate with team, Team Leads, Managers, Directors and department subject matter experts to promote quality improvements Ability to maintain/improve customer relationships and exhibit effective leadership skills. Able to be flexible, adapt quickly to change, and work effectively in a fast paced and changing work environment.
