Job Description Developer: ETL, Vertica, Architecture Design, RDBMS Data Modeler Developer

Start Date : 10/17/2016

End Date : 01/27/2017

Description :

Developer in Vertica
* Need min of 2 years of experience with Vertica (installations, code migrations, DB designs, performance tuning, backups, health checks, security and user creation).

Setup Vertica database with a schema of tables that already exist in Oracle (straight one-one copy of structures)
Write one-time scripts to load historical data from Oracle to Vertica
Knowledge of Unix/Linux to setup ETLs to sync between Oracle and Vertica on a weekly basis.

* Proficient in RDBMS concepts.
* Proficient in writing Detailed Design Documents.
* Proficient in creating Data Flow diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Architecture diagrams, Data Model Diagrams etc.
