Job Description : TITLE: ETL Developer LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA or Austin, TX DURATION: 1 year contract (contract extension and/or permanent conversion possible, but not guaranteed) Description: Key Responsibilities · Work with product owners to refine business requirements · Analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable · Provide technical documentation of solutions · Break down architected solution into smaller, achievable tasks · Present and communicate solution to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders · Knowledgeable of data technologies and solutions · Work with full stack development - back end, middle tier, and client side · Debugging and providing solutions for complicated issues · Participate in demos and code reviews · Multi-task and support multiple teams · Enforce software best practices, standards and processes Qualifications • B.S. in Computer Science and 6+ years of Software Development Experience or M.S-PhD with 3+ years of Software Development Experience • Proficient in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data profiling, ETL concepts and relational concepts. • Experience with design and development of SQL objects, writing complex SQL queries using SQL and advanced functions. • Experience in design, development and implementation of complex ETL solutions, using Clover ETL or Clover DX. • Have experience with generating the file extracts in different formats through Clover ETL , Clover DX or similar (Fixed width, XML, CSV, TC-40, Delimited etc. • Should have basic understanding and knowledge of (Unix) batch programming commands, in order to develop scripts. • Experience of Java programming for business logic • Git Source Control and Agile/Scrum Methodology highly preferred • Experience with automation and scheduling of components (nice to have). • Using Kafka or similar message queuing technology (nice to have). • Experience with designing, development and deploy the solutions for small/medium scale projects (nice to have). • Experience with performance tuning of complex SQL queries, Indexing strategies (nice to have). • Financial services industry experience a plus (nice to have).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
