Job Description Developer: ETL, SQL, Informatica, QA

[Note : Prefer local as in-person will probably be required]

Job Responsibilities

Assist Data Quality/ETL Team Leader in the development of a common test approach for ETL and data integration engagements.
Design and implement test strategies and plans in compliance with the established test approach
Deliver projects within the established commitments, ensuring quality, performance and conformance with established specifications

· Utilize and coordinate Data Integration Development resources outside of QA for the successful execution of data integration testing efforts and defect resolution

Analyze business requirements and incident reports for testability
Develop Quality Assurance test plans that clearly map to and account for defined business and data requirements
Plan, coordinate and schedule test coverage to provide high value during the product release process
Perform testing using Informatica, RedGate and SQL Management Console tools
Design, establish and execute test strategies and plans in accordance with a common testing approach

· Perform all types of testing including functional testing (black box), back-end database testing (white box), integration testing and system testing

· Report regular testing status to project teams


Qualifications
· Excellent communication skills a must

· 5 years experience in distinct ETL Development and Quality Assurance Testing

· Experience using Informatica, RedGate and SQL Management Console tools.

· Software testing experience in a complex, real-time system

· Experience in developing and delivering production quality software

· Self-motivated and able to deliver to schedules, as well as work with and incorporate input from other areas

· Proven experience with at least one Quality Assurance testing methodology

· Strong attention to detail

· Consulting experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment
