We have a 24-month project with our client in NYC, NY that requires a Database Administrator, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Using complex systems analysis, identify database requirements by working collaboratively with reporting and analytics team to determine business requirements and lead the development of a database model to support compliance and management reporting Analyze and evaluate disparate DOE data systems by utilizing advance SQL design processes, such as STAR schema, indexing, and Erwin Diagramming. Develop and manage all database processes to continually improve data management practices. Create and administer database objects (tables, forms, queries/views, reports, and functions, etc.) from design to deployment and utilize subject matter expertise to design or re-use, configure, and implement database solutions/processes that maximize system availability efficiently and effectively. Incorporate programming and data management processes and practices so as to preserve data integrity, recoverability, and supportability. Guide day-to-day maintenance of special education data marts to ensure critical compliance and reporting needs are met. Work collaboratively with DIIT in the development of a special education data warehouse. Design and document data flow diagrams and data models. Work with staff to create the end user documentation and training materials to be used throughout the life of the database. Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms – beyond that of a Programmer 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field Preferred Qualifications: 84 months implementing data governance processes including data management and programming 84 months writing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers views and programs 84 months in data warehousing, dimensional design and ETL Architectures 84 months working with Microsoft SQL databases with experience of SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS 84 months working with Microsoft Suite including Excel, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power Bi 84 months building and implementing databases and data marts for operational, analytical and/or dashboard reporting using datai A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution 84 months in data modeling with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling experience.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
