Essential Responsibilities The Data Engineer will be part of the Self-Service Data team in the Chief Data Officer Organization (CDOO). This team focuses on driving Digital Transformation by enabling teams and individuals across the organization to use Published Data Sets. To do this, the Published Data Services (PDS) team enables the creation of clean, defined, organized data with governance known as Published data sets. As a Data Engineer in PDS you will work across a broad set of users and business cases to drive multiple outcomes and enhance the Digital capabilities of the organization through the creation of Published Datasets. To meet these responsibilities the Data Engineer should have the below competencies: Deep experience with data engineering Deep experience with SQL & familiarity of Greenplum/Postgres databases Knowledge of data lake concepts Able to partner with the business and data subject matter experts to understand a data domain Approachable and able/willing to answer questions from users with a wide variety of backgrounds Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Data engineering Desired Characteristics Demonstrated experience in the roles technical competencies Demonstrated ability to work well with others from many different backgrounds and skill levels Demonstrated experience working effectively business users, data analysts and data scientists Understanding of Greenplum, SQL and relational databases Utilized Technologies pgAdmin/dBeaver Greenplum AWS Aurora AWS Redshift Spectrum AWS S3   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
