Note :IV process: technical screening with Apex screener (phone), first round with manager (video), second round with manager & team (video)
Position is exclusive to Apex until EOD Tue, 7/21 Position is remote until further notice working off PST hours (managers expectation is to have his team back onsite once safe to do so) Position is currently slated for 6 months with extensions based on the original duration of the project, but manager assured us this would be a long-term need for his team.

Candidate must be our W2 Employee.

Job Description :

Project/Team/Role Details:

· There are 3 teams that handle the data: Data Ingestion Team, Data Curation Team, and the BI team.

· The ETL Architect and ETL Lead Developers will join the Data Curation Team for customer data products.

· All roles should have some experience with Azure cloud, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and DataBricks.



Day to Day:



ETL Architect

· Design the architecture for the Data Curation Team and provide leadership to lower the teams learning curve.

· Hands-on. Define and create the ETL framework to implement an end to end solution for the Enterprise Data Hub.

· Develop new customer product APIs to leverage different data layers moving from staging to the foundation layer.

· Create the Cloud Data Warehouse using Azure Synapse and work with ETL developers to build Data Bricks solution.


Tech Stack:

· Azure Cloud

· Azure DataBricks

· Azure Data Factory (ADF)

· Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

· Azure Synapse (Azure SQL DW)

· Python scripts for DataBricks

· DataStage and Teradata (currently)



Qualifications:

•BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related STEM field.

Certifications:

•Microsoft Certifications would be a plus.


Must Have:

• Azure Cloud

• Azure DataBricks

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

• Azure Synapse (Azure SQL DW)



Strong Plus:

• Python scripts for DataBricks

• DataStage and Teradata
