ETL SDLC Developer (Jobs in Spartanburg, SC)   Requirement id 2480 Job title Developer Job location in Spartanburg, SC Skills required ETL, SQL, SDLC, Open Date 02-Feb-2011 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 2 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---     Job Description Developer: ETL, SQL, SDLC, Rate will be commensurate with a candidates experience - please include their rate information Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with users, business analysts, systems analysts, and application developers to define and resolve information requirements, data flow and data content/quality issues • Transform business requirements into environment specific rule-set and data validation designs (conceptual logical and physical architecture) • Design and develop ETL jobs, scheduling and monitoring • Create documentation using data flow diagrams, rule-sets/thresholds, and ETL mappings • Lead/participate in data quality architectural review sessions to ensure compliance with direction and standards • Provide on-going support of existing warehouses/databases as well as continually re-evaluate current processes and techniques for increased accuracy, efficiency and maintainability • Analyze application, quality, and data integration problems, provide solutions and recommend corrective actions EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions within Data Stage • At least 5 years experience in relational database design • At least 3 years experience in supporting star schema designs • Solid understanding of Oracle SQL/DB Concepts • OLTP and data warehouse environment • Change data capture techniques • Knowledge and adherence to data modeling and data architecture standards and best practices • Experience and/or expertise in establishing measures or techniques to achieve data quality • Experience in data governance, stewardship, and/or metadata • Strong understanding of industry best practices • Good understanding SDLC • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly • Team-oriented and a positive "get it done" attitude • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical, problem identification/solving skills KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: • Finance, or other relevant industry vertical experience • Performance tuning and monitoring applications and databases • Solid oral and written presentation skills • ETL Certifications • Solid understanding of Oracle SQL/DB Concepts   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
