Anticipated start date is March 1, 2020. Description : Serve as the Business Analyst for completion of an in-flight implementation of the M-Files Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution. Responsibilities include: - Conduct requirements gathering and design workshops for upcoming project phases - Conducttaxonomy development efforts in advance of upcoming project phases - ReviewM-Files contractors deliverables - Establish relationships with and elicit requirements from business and technical stakeholders - Coordinate M-Files integration with the Trimble Forestry Land Resource Manager (LRM), Trimble Landfolio for Natural Resources (LF), and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV) systems - Collaborate with Business Analysts and the implementation teams for the LRM, LF and NAV projects - Review, analyze, validate, and communicate requirements throughout system implementation lifecycle - Document business processes in a manner that facilitates long term maintenance, business process automation, and process improvement - Coordinate with other project team members to ensure and verify successful implementation of requirements - Design and execute functional testing plan - Coordinate user acceptance testing - Aid in design and delivery of system training - Follow IDL IT business analysis and project management processes Work location: IDL Boise office (300 N 6th Street, Suite 103, Boise, ID 83720) Agency Expected Deliverables The ECM Business Analyst will coordinate with the Project Manager, CIOand project stakeholders to: - Review existing project documentation including high level requirements, detailed requirements and use cases, and other artifacts - Draft, refine, and maintain documented business requirements and system (functional and non-functional) requirements - Collaborate with business units to develop taxonomy for upcoming business areas - Coordinate M-Files integration with LRM, LF, and NAV with respective implementation teams, including collaborative development of integration requirements - Ensure document retention schedule applied - Draft, refine, and maintain Use Cases as needed - Identify and communicate system implementation risks and mitigation strategies, issues, and process improvement opportunities to appropriate project team members and other stakeholders - Work with project management to understand the business strategy, goals, and objectives to ensure successful system implementation Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Experience: Two plus years of experience Education: Four (4) year college degree or equivalent technical study Description of skills and knowledge include: - Good knowledge of document taxonomy development - Good knowledge of ECM systems (M-Files experience preferred, but not required) - CIP or similar certification preferred but not required - Expertise in business analysis within enterprise software implementation projects - Basic working knowledge of land management/natural resource terminology and concepts preferred - Basic working knowledge of enterprise system integration concepts - Basic working knowledge of data migration concepts - Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Limited in-state travel is required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
