Job Description Client is seeking 2 Business Analyst/Tester who can provide functional and technical in depth analysis and testing for a large scale IT system. The selected candidate will work under deadlines, must be capable of handling a large workload, and must be able to work independently with only general direction. The selected candidate must have business analysis skills including knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in Microsoft products, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. Prior experience testing or working in a Sales Force application is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of DCBS or DMS policies or a Medicaid or Human Services policy background is preferred, but not required. Primary Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): The BA/Tester will be a member of a team who will be responsible for: Writing test plans and testing critical eligibility applications Working with Business Analysts as well as System Vendor staff to review and select test cases compiled by the system vendor Compiling knowledge of Medicaid, client Transitional Assistance Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP) policies and applying this knowledge to complete thorough system testing Documenting defects and collaborating with a team to ensure fixes have been applied correctly Completing smoke testing and providing support after major production releases Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites 3-5+ years working in a Quality Assurance (testing) or Business Analyst position. Strong understanding of SDLC methodology. Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction. Relationship management and facilitation skills. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient problem solving skills. Strong decision-making ability. Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail oriented. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is essential.
