Description: The client seeks Information Security Analysts to serve as a member of a security operations center. Security Analyst role will assist in the management and monitoring of a diverse set of security tools, to protect customers data from intrusion or unauthorized access. Note: Resource must be onsite in Raleigh, NC. No remote work. Required Skills: 3+ years experience in Security Incident response and investigation. Ability to identify, recognize, respond and troubleshoot security issues in a timely manner, including experience performing malware analysis Experience in analyzing security logs generated by Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, network flow systems, Anti-Virus, and/or other security logging sources. Experience performing security analysis utilizing SIEM technologies. Experience performing analysis utilizing IDS consoles Experience monitoring daily security reports and develops new reports as needed by security, management, and auditors. Preferred Skills: Any of the following certifications: CISSP, pertinent SANS certifications (GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, etc) Familiar with basic Data Loss Prevention (DLP) concepts and Data Integrity/File Integrity/Host intrusion prevention service (HIPS) Experience or familiarity with FISMA and NIST compliance Basic understanding of forensics and detection concepts utilizing thresholds and statistics derived via analysis as they apply to digital attacks and evidence handling Strong understanding of networking and associated protocols.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
