Enhance and support our existing core products. . Create design document, sizing estimates, develop code, and create unit testers. Follow up with other teams to ensure new changes are properly tested and deployed. . Manage, prioritize, and execute multiple concurrent software development project activities. . Build proof of concept with technologies and maintain code quality. . Troubleshoot and isolate issues related to assigned applications/products. . Follow software development best practices. Requirements . Must have done at least 7 years of development in major application/product release lifecycle . Experience with web application development in any web application frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, etc. – 3 + years . Strong in either Perl or Python or shell scripting- 3+ years . Strong in Linux/Centos (*nix) – 5+ years . Good with front-end UI . Familiar with Relational Databases such as Sybase/Oracle/MySql, etc. ( NoSQL is a plus) . The candidate should be a quick learner and is passionate about learning new technologies . The candidate should be responsible and self-started and self-motivated and able to work with development and operation teams. . Strong teamwork and good work ethic and must be able to multi-task . The candidate should be process oriented and have a strong desire to deliver high quality products.
