User stories are part of an agile approach that describe features from an end-user perspective. The scope for this effort is to gather user stories and document workflows for the releasable functionality objectives for the Forest Practices Online system (listed below): o Provide a Forest Practices online portal with functionality to provide one stop access to all Forest Practices products and services. o Provide a user-driven Forest Practices notification subscription service. o Provide the ability to complete, submit and manage Forest Practices forms and maps online, including the ability to accept electronic signatures and submit and track electronic payments for fees and the ability to upload map data from an external Geographic Information System (GIS) or Global Positioning system (GPS). o Provide improved GIS data management making Forest Practices data available and useable for the entire department. o Provide enhanced reporting capabilities to include ad-hoc reporting.
