Interview Process: -1st round phone screen -Potential 2nd round in person interview Summary of Project: -The main function of a GIS analyst is to perform computer applications and/or database design, development, and implementation services for utilization of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This person supports the GIS environment, policies and procedures, standards, and the accuracy and consistency of the GIS information. Responsibilities: -Leads the development, and drives delivery, of initiatives on the CEMREC GIS strategy and roadmap -Provide GIS expertise during requirements gathering, responsible for design, development, prioritization, and maintenance of CEMREC GIS applications and maps. -Interfaces with central IT teams to understand and ensure enterprise standards and processes are leveraged. -Ensuring that all GIS architecture adheres to established standards and technical controls. -Monitoring performance to ensure all standard tools and process are used in supporting business users requests -Research, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and interfaces. -Develops and presents GIS system and cartographic mapping elements, integrates elements with other technology for marketing and web-based communication. -Transpose complex data from records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models and economic resources and other source documents into GIS related database. -Produce maps, provide web-based mapping support, develop spatial and non-spatial databases, and provide technical support to other users.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
