Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing Champion (AI/ML/NLP)

Position Title:Lead Software Engineer /Devops Engineer

Project Length: 6 Month Contract to Hire - All resources must be willing to convert full-time.


First Location: Littleton, CO
Second Location choice: Seattle, WA/Dublin, OH

Individual must be able to LEAD and guide teams on developing solutions which fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions – often playing multiple roles from lead architect to highly-skilled developer, technical team leader, consultant and technical evangelist.

Digital Collaboration Team

Senior Lead Software Engineer responsible for providing direction across the IT organization for AI, ML and Natural Language Processing solutions within the CenturyLink organization. Individual should have demonstrated experience utilizing custom algorithms to apply ML and NLP capabilities, and be able to provide direction on how to bring ML and AI into new domains. Individual should have expertise with TensorFlow, Anaconda, Python, Machine Learning libraries, Prediction.io, Microsoft LUIS, IBM Watson, etc. Individual should also have familiarity with various Chat and Bot related technologies and collaboration tools to help deliver digital collaboration solutions to benefit both the customer and employee digital experience.

DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer responsible for leading and driving the adoption and usage of infrastructure and operational environments that support CenturyLinks migration to API and Microservices development and Digital Transformation, with emphasis on the various open source and vendor provided tools and technologies that are integrated together to support a fully robust API developer enablement environment. Individual should be an expert in automated code integration and delivery tools (CI/CD), configuration and installation, and best practice usage. Tools include GitLab-CI, GoCD, Jenkins, SonarCube, Zipkin, Prometheus, GitLab, Jira, Ansible, CA Agile Center, Slack, and the Netflix OSS stack. Individual should be familiar with container delivery toolsets such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker and VMs. This role entails establishing the infrastructure and DevOps processes required to support a wide variety of application (API and Microservices) development teams to operate on the above tools.
