The analyst will work on a marketing communication web property, this role requires you to be an advocate of their customer experience. You will leverage various aspects of application testing, define test cases for new features and functionality through manual and/or automation, and be responsible for finding those “bugs” so they can have the best product in financial services. An ideal candidate would be a fast learning, self-starter, excellent at time management and willing to be an explorer. Review and understand business requirements and technical specifications. Verify application changes and new functionalities are implemented as described by business requirements and technical specifications. Design, write and execute test cases for new features and existing functionalities as well as requests for change to existing functionalities. Write, execute and monitor automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities. Utilize existing automation testing framework for creating and maintaining test cases. Capture and report defects. Participate in requirements, defect review, and agile delivery meetings. Work effectively with business analysts, developers, project managers and project team members to ensure releases are properly tested and defects are resolved. Test application/system features and provide end-to-end system validation across all code environments. Utilize toolsets provided to support testing efforts (e.g. Bug Tracking Tools, JIRA, Intellij IDEA, Eclipse, Jenkins) Conduct post production testing when necessary.
