Job Description : Technical Writer

· Document reusable patterns and libraries (“building blocks”) in a manner similar to public open source repositories

· Define and document inner and open source contribution and curation processes

· Maintain document libraries and manage Markdown-formatted files in Git repositories

· Identify, create, revise and maintain GitHub issue and pull request templates

· Ensure content and format is consistent across all documentation

· Collaborate across technology teams

· Measure and report building block usage metrics

· Survey end users to gauge adoption and document enhancement requests

RESPONSIBILITIES

· The technical writer will document shared repositories with common DevOps patterns used across various teams in the enterprise.

· Surveying end users to discover new reports

· Documenting enhancement requests and/or support documentation related to DevOps and Platform Engineering.

SKILLS:

· Strong technical writing skills

· Familiarity with English grammar and various style guides

· Experience with GitHub and Markdown files

· Proficiency with diagramming software.

The candidate must provide examples of past technical writings.
