Potential for occasional brief travel Job Description: To enable our claim handling system to process claims payments automatically with minimal human intervention, an experienced Business Analyst is needed to gather and document requirements, identify competing priorities from Claims/Finance/Compliance, attend and potentially manage working group sessions independently, contribute to and help support an Agile team, and proactively consider risks through elicitation. Target Industries/Companies: P&C Insurance, specifically Property Claims Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate comes with a strong background in both Property Insurance Claims, as well as meeting facilitation and requirements elicitation. They must be prepared to address multiple customers with competing priorities, as well quickly adapt to changing time frames and priorities on an Agile project. Job Qualifications: 1. Strong Business Analysis experience (5+ years) 2. Claim Adjudication knowledge or experience, including claims payments 3. Strong command of written and spoken English 4. Proven ability to elicit requirements from senior level stakeholders both internal and external 5. Strong influencing and leadership skills 6. Ability to work independently for results Required Technical Skills: 1. Claim Handling Applications (Guidewire) 2. Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) 3. Advanced Excel skills 4. Lifecycle management tools (Atlassian JIRA) 5. Professional Communication/Chat (Skype/Teams) Preferred Skills: 1. Requirements Elicitation and Documentation 2.
