About the project: -Team is enhancing and extending Comcasts Network Monitoring System. Any experience with Kafka / NoSQL (Cassandra or Mongo DB) would be highly desired – this will be a distributed system they are building. System will be Monitoring Comcasts CMTS which is massive – its a core component to how Comcast delivers database components to customers and covers all 3 major lines of business (HSD, Video and Telephony). Their customers are the Network Engineers and Capacity planning teams within Comcast. There is also a fault monitoring component to the system as well that handles alerts to a variety of teams. Day-to-day – team is working together to build, enhance and extend this Network Monitoring System supporting Comcasts CMTS.
