Requirements
UND seeks a solution with the following required and desired features and functionality:
Requirements
1. Video/Audio upload and ingestion of a variety of file formats
a. Helix content; .rm, .rv, .ra
b. Other video/audio files
2. Video/audio Transcoding and Processing
3. Dashboard for management of user accounts, files and locations, user and administrator views
a. User: Ability to create user roles with associated rights/permissions and to tailor individual user privileges to specific items or collections – ex. a user can have upload privileges for one collection but not the rest. Ability to create guest accounts.
b. IP range: Ability to restrict viewing privileges of certain items/collections to a specific IP range
4. Searchable by spoken & written words
5. Video Publishing
6. Video Player/customizable (UND branding)
7. Mobile & HTML5 Video player
8. Video/audio Editing Tools
9. Video/audio Analytics and Audience measurement
a. collect view/download statistics on an item and collection level
