They will design, develop and configure test software/scripts to support automation of application functionality. This includes working with team members to define automation requirements, testing new automation enhancements, and maintaining automation code. The candidate will apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support the project. Responsibilities will include: Create test models for SIT testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data Plan and design complex and integrated test scenarios for high traffic web-based applications. Design and write test cases and scripts. Execute and coordinate monitoring of performance tests. Work with application development teams and business users to develop and validate test requirements. Capable of working with the customer and developers to identify the test scenarios based upon the User Requirement and Technical Requirement documents. Capable of creating reusable test cases and test scenarios. Required Skills: 3+ years in-depth experience with HP Functional Testing software (HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) Unified Functional Test (UFT) and/or HP WinRunner) from a scripting, scenario setup, testing and analysis perspective Experience with ALM or Quality Center. Knowledge of databases, SQL and experience with SQL queries Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and debugging skills Experience with Software Development Lifecycle experience (Waterfall or Agile) Experience working with a Relational Database using SQL Experience working with Java development/principles Experience working with XML Proficient in MS Office Preferred Skills: Bachelor degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Will also consider 9 years of work related experience in lieu of degree Experience developing automated tests with Selenium Experience developing automated tests with QTP Excellent written and oral communication skills (ability to translate between business and technical concepts).
