Candidate must be local : Yes Job Description : Role: This Software/Systems Engineer role will be responsible for tasks including Manual and Automation testing, maintaining documentation, along with meeting quality requirements. Candidate will be part of a team of engineers supporting enhancements to existing web application and as well as building up a new platform, automating manual test cases as well as executing those scripts in an effort to test the functionality for Policy Management System. The Policy Management System is the repository for all Wells Fargo corporate policies and their related documents. In this Software/Systems Engineer role, the candidate will utilize Selenium, Java, JavaScript, TestNG and Jenkins to automate and virtualize test cases that reside in HP Quality Center / ALM. These tasks will be conducted throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including during the Sprint phase and Release Hardening phase for any given project/Scrum Team to support the Shift Left concept. Required Qualifications 7+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience 5+ years of HP ALM and Jira experience 5+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies 5+ years of experience designing and/or developing automated test solutions using Selenium and Java. Strong experience in creating, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting test automation scripts. Desired Qualifications: Experience with various types and levels of testing - functional, automation and regression testing. Solid expertise in developing test plans/strategies, test cases, and test scripts and traceability process of requirements to test cases. Experience with selenium tools and test Environment (Ex: Eclipse IDE, Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG etc…). Comprehend and decompose user stories/requirements to identify what tests need to be created and automated across all levels of testing. Exposure to DevOps concepts and tools like GIT and Jenkins. Partner with Development team to fully automate testing throughout the release & delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline. Proven experience in test automation development for large applications.
