Description:

The PayPal Deployment and Infrastructure team is looking for a senior level web developer to design and build out PayPals next generation live to site/staging application deployment environment. As a senior member of PayPals core infrastructure team youll play a key role in requirements analysis, software and systems design related to this mission critical technology.
Your principle focus will be the development of new UI for internal tools. You should be able to quickly understand translate the requirements into working UI that is easy to use.

Job Requirements

* Must have 7+ years of web development experience
* Must have programming experience in a scripting language (Python), HTML, CSS, JavaScript & AJAX
* Must have 1+ years experience in Django Python framework
* Must be proficient in the use of Linux and Windows operating systems
* Must have experience in database design, Oracle knowledge a plus
* Must have experience in design of a system from scratch, with successful implementation and deployment into production
* Must be able to investigate and evaluate new technologies to advance a project
* Must have experience in UI design and a good sense of the tradeoff between user value and implementation cost
* Must be competent in Object Oriented software design and fluent in design patterns
* Must have experience in designing test-able software that facilitates automated regression testing
* Must be an individual self-starter and team player
* Must exhibit strong leadership skills, lead analysis, drive meetings and issues to conclusion
* Must exhibit strong written and verbal skills
* Familiarity with large scale (mission critical) deployment infrastructure systems is a plus

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
