Job Description Analyst: Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, XML, CSS Classic ASP Visual Basic 6 C++ Subve

*Description:
*Client is seeking to acquire staff augmentation consulting services for an intermediate-to advanced Applications Development Analyst for the period extending one year from the date of Purchase Order issuance.

*Application Development Analyst:
*The intermediate-to-advanced Application Developer will provide development support to the Application Maintenance Services (AMS) Team currently staffed with both DEP staff and other consultants. Specific duties are outlined below in the task list.

*Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
*6+ years experience with Oracle PL/SQL
*4+ years experience in XML, HTML and CSS
*4+ years experience in Classic ASP
*4+ years experience in VB 6
*4+ years experience in C++
*Experience using Subversion.
*Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs.
*Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies.
*Knowledge of Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).
*Knowledge of database security, including role-based security.
*Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
*Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design/specifications and assigned application software systems.
*Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
*Ability to work independently.
*Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

*Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
*2+ years experience in Java Frameworks such as Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate
*Experience using Maven 2
*Familiarity with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM and Kanban.
*Familiarity with environmental regulatory business processes and practices.
*Knowledge and understanding of DEPs technical environment.
