Writes and analyzes programs of moderate complexity. Analyzes, researches, and resolves program or systems problems. Develops program documentation. Designs and codes computer programs to meet users requirements following applicable procedures Writes and/or modifies existing programs according to moderately detailed instructions on program specifications for completing assignments. Reviews programs logic comprehension according to established policies and procedures. Writes/rewrites job execution language according to specifications Makes necessary programming changes in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with customer requirements and priorities. Updates required documentation to accurately reflect changes made to the system. Develops testing procedures based on knowledge of computer applications. Tests and debugs (and assist in testing and debugging) application software systems by analyzing output and making necessary adjustments, to ensure applications conforms to specifications when implemented by customers. Writes documentation in a clear manner and in terminology that will be easily understood by the reader. Develops user/operations documentation which includes instructions on how to use the software/system as well as descriptions of the system outputs according to established procedures. Develops operations documentation which includes instructions on how to execute the applications system, as well as, system recovery procedures according to established guidelines. Maintains documentation files for assigned programs/systems, ensuring files are well-organized, complete, current and accessible, in accordance with applicable standards. Debugs, adapts, and modifies code and logic of existing application. Defines and designs application and software architectures. Determines portability of code between operating systems and hardware. Documents and reports audit/test results to quality assurance management and appropriate development staff. Plans and manages the development of, enhancements to and/or the maintenance of customer applications according to published standards. Prepares detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operations Tests code to identify errors and debug Updates the applicable tracking system with issues identified during the full life cycle Utilizes, modifies, or develops algorithms that maximize processing speed and utilize memory efficiently Writes and debugs programs or program modules Writes or contributes to instructions or manuals to guide end users Technical Competencies: • Ability to prepare flow charts and diagrams • Ability to perform modeling/mapping application workflow and process designs • Ability to analyze the programming codes • Ability to perform application debugging • Ability to write specifications • Knowledge of programming systems, software and hardware configuration and their application to a system environment • Ability to give instructions and direct the activities of other analysts Qualifications: • Experience with document management systems that incorporate business process workflows and web forms preferably Laser fiche • Proficient programming skills and in-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS, XML, AJAX, JSON, JavaScript and JQuery • Familiarity with PHP, ASP.NET, vb.net • Knowledge of relational database systems • Experience working with business analysts to deliver solutions that automate business processes • Knowled   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
