Short Description:
The Product Specialist is the expert for the technical modification of Juvenile Automated Management System (JAMS). These modifications will automate the remaining 4 steps of the Juveniile Grants Management Lifecycle.
Complete Description:
Years of Relevant Experience: 2 - 5 years

Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

Role Description: Project Lead and Primary Developer for Modifications to JAMS to automate the remaining 4 steps fo the Juvenile Grants Management Lifecycle. The Product Specialist is the expert for the technical modification of Juvenile Automated Management System (JAMS). These modifications will support the Office of Local Programs and Services in the management of Juvenile Grants. These modifications include the development of the Planning Module, Grant Application Module, Monitoring Module, and Evaluation Module, as well as the updating of existing JAMS modules to support / utilize the data generated by the new modules. The development of all new applications / interfaces will be in ASP.NET/VB.NET on Framework 3.5. All reports will be developed in Crystal Reports 11. The backend database is MS SQL Server 2005. Existing Modules are a combination of ASP.NET 2.0 to 3.5.

Product Specialist will also be required to assist the Project Manager in preparing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reports due on the 4th of each month.

Working Hours:
Will be one of the three schedules listed below (To be choosen by selected candidate)
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 hour lunch break)
9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)

Once contractual issues are resolved, anticipate this contract being extended to 3/2012
