Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Develops highly complex code and provides coding direction to less experienced staff. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Responsibilities (Deliverables): •Technical specifications w/ documented unit test plans •Finished code that meets specifications •Documentation as required List deliverables or activities the resource will be responsible for producing or executing Required Skillset: •Bachelors degree and 7+ yrs IT work experience, including 2 or more years technology-related project work, or equivalent combination of education and experience •C# and asp.net presentation and HTML experience is a must •Service consumption in a service oriented architecture using Windows Communication Foundation is a must •Candidate must have an understanding of object serialization and mapping •Candidate will need the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously •Candidate must adhere to critical deadlines •Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools •Candidate must have a fundamental understanding of relational databases •Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy to understand business terms •Excellent Interpersonal skills are required to motivate team members and to quickly gain the trust and confidence of other IT members across the organization List skills that are required for the role (i.e. programming languages, databases, tools, competencies) Business Knowledge Needed: Brokerage and/or financial services experience preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
