Locum Tenens Placement for Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with Psychiatric Certificate of Added Qualifications This announces the intention of client to award funds to place for temporary locum employment licensed, qualified, and competent prescribers and licensed eligible psychologists to work in positions as requested by the North Dakota Department of Human Services. These positions include: • Medical Doctor (MD) Psychiatrist • Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Psychiatrist • Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) • Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) with Psychiatric Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) • Licensed Eligible Psychologist Scope of Work • Upon request of client, the successful offeror shall place for temporary locum employment licensed, qualified, and competent prescribers and licensed eligible psychologists as requested by client facilities. This includes, but is not limited to: Regional Human Service Centers, Clients Hospital, and the Life Skills & Transition Center, all located in the state of North Dakota. Telehealth care delivery will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such personnel shall provide clinical and behavioral health medical services (and other services agreed upon) in accordance with accepted practices and procedures, and all applicable state and federal laws, standards of care, and applicable client rules, policies, and protocols. client, in its sole discretion, may refute the services of any assigned personnel should client have a reasonable, good faith basis for doing so. A. Successful offeror may recruit multiple professionals to fill the need. B. Client will negotiate specific process and timeline for notifying successful offeror of needs, candidate review, and scheduling with the successful offeror. • Client reserves the right to interview individuals prior to placement with client. If this occurs, the successful offeror shall arrange for and be responsible for all such interviews, arrangements, and expenses. • The successful offeror shall supply client with the following upon request. Such information shall be available for review by STATE and shall contain the following: A. Completed job application, including all formal education, clinical training, degree obtained, and specialty training certification. B. Three professional references, one of which is from a previous training director, clinical supervisor, human resources specialist, or clinic manager. C. Documentation of training degree and licensure as required by STATE. D. Verification of current licensure and such license being unrestricted and in good standing. E. Evidence of immunizations and most recent drug screen. F. Drivers license and social security card. G. I-9 or other documentation allowing employment within the United States. H. Source documents for internship or residency requirements. I. Applicable accreditation documents as requested. • The successful offeror shall match the skills and experience levels of such personnel to the specific needs of client. • Client will conduct background checks at clients expense.
