Minimum 3 years working with XML and/or Flat-Files Ability to compare transaction sets and determine gaps. Ability to create test data in X12, XML, Flat-File formats, HL7, CDA or NCPDP. Exceptional communication skills and related EDI to other areas. Familiar with X12 TR3 Guides Familiar with HIPAA Security and Privacy Policies General Payer or MMIS knowledge Business Analyst specializing in Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange. Participates in requirements validation/analysis sessions leveraging their business expertise to facilitate a clear understanding of the requirements. Enforces adherence to standards and processes; participates in work product reviews Identifies potential changes in scope and escalates through the Scope Management process. Participates in Design Sessions leveraging their business expertise to facilitate a solid business design. Participates in Implementation Planning leveraging their business expertise to facilitate a complete implementation plan. Mentors all project team members on the business. Responsible for business documentation and deliverables. Proactively identifies Risks to the project success and works with PM to formulate effective mitigation and contingency strategies. Supports Developers in solving technical problems by providing business knowledge. Functions as business expert during project presentations to the client. Supports the Testing Team with understanding the business requirements as well as resolving ambiguity logs. Participates in reviewing and approving test case scenarios and test case steps and results. Participates in executing Test Cases.
